With house sized penthouse apartments come house sized terraced balconies. These two brand new apartments were built without shade for the large terraced areas. The sheer size of the stone tiled terraces determined that four Markilux 6000 folding arm awnings were required for each apartment.

As a previous customer of ours, the client looked to Blindmaster for a discrete solution that would provide them with a functional shaded area yet sit well with the newly built modern architecture. The awnings were craned onto the balconies and top mounted under the concrete eaves and fitted with Somfy wind sensors providing peace of mind.

Our customer liaised with the developer and builder Mirvac to establish the Strata bylaw for the apartment complex hence the Markilux 6000 folding arm awnings are the specified product for this project.
