The Markilux 6000 folding arm awning with the optional lighting module was the ideal product selection for this stately courtyard in Darling Point.

Following the removal of a large bank of fur trees at the rear of the property, the previously private courtyard was left exposed to an adjacent apartment building. In order to achieve privacy for the outdoor seating area, the client selected the Markilux 6000 to provide the necessary privacy.

The addition of the lighting module on the inside of the front profile of the awning adds to the ambience during the evening and can be dimmed accordingly. The wind motion sensor protects the awning by retracting it during inclement weather.
